The Training and Placement Department of Rural Engineering College (REC), Hulkoti, is continuously organizing various training, skill-development, and recruitment activities to enhance students’ career skills and employment opportunities. As part of these efforts, 29 students of Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, have been selected for internships at QSpiders, a reputed training and recruitment organization. The selected students have received their internship offer letters.

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti organised the Orientation Day for the Academic Year 2026–27 on 19 August 2026. The programme was organised by the Department of Science and Humanities with the objective of welcoming the newly admitted students and introducing them to the academic environment, facilities and opportunities available at the institution.

On the occasion of the 73rd birthday of Hon’ble Dr. H. K. Patil Ji, visited Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti to inaugurate the newly established Digital Classroom and Artificial Intelligence Computer Lab. During his visit, Dr. H. K. Rural Engineering College (REC), Hulkoti, organized a Placement Orientation Programme as part of the Parent-Teacher Meeting on July 25, 2026. Parents of students from the 3rd and 5th semesters participated in the programme, which aimed to create awareness about the changing employment landscape, emerging technologies, industry expectations, and the college’s placement initiatives.
