Teacher's Day Celebration 2026

Teacher’s Day was celebrated meaningfully at Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti (REC), Hulkoti, through a special programme organised by the Alumni Association.

The programme was compered by Dr. L. R. Somanagouda, while Shri Krishna Odugoudar welcomed the gathering. The programme began with a prayer song presented by Prof. Soumya Hiremath.

On the occasion, Dr. V. M. Patil, Administrator, RTE Society, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of teachers, their role in shaping the lives of students, and their invaluable contribution to the development of society. Dr. B. N. Patil, Principal, REC also addressed the gathering and shared their thoughts on the significance of Teacher’s Day.

Shri Ranganagouda Patil, an alumnus and a member of the Board of Directors, was present on the occasion and added distinction to the programme.

The Heads of Departments (HODs) and teaching staff from all departments of REC were also present. The occasion served as an opportunity to honour and acknowledge the dedicated service, commitment and invaluable contribution of teachers to the field of education.

The programme further strengthened the bond of affection, respect and togetherness among teachers, alumni and the staff of the institution.
