RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Dr. Gnanavel. P
The committee encourages faculties and students to publish technical papers and articles, write textbooks, apply for support for project work, get grants for research, apply for patents, etc. To ensure necessary facilities are provided for carrying out research publication, projects and products.
Responsibilities:
· To identify the thrust areas of research in various disciplines of engineering and from the faculty into various clusters based on their specialization.
· To prepare and submit project proposals to government agencies like KSCST, VGST, AICTE, UGC, DST, IE (I) etc.
· To encourage the staff to attend workshops, national/international conferences of their specialized areas.
· Encourage faculty and students to publish papers in conferences and referred journals.
· Encouraging faculty and students to work on R&D projects.
