RTE Society’s Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, successfully organized a One Day Incubation Program under the RAMP Scheme, Government of Karnataka, Department of Industries and Commerce, KCTU Bangalore, District Industries Centre, Gadag, in association with We Care Society, Bangalore.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) of Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, organized an industrial visit to Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., Agadi, for the 3rd-semester ECE students. The visit aimed to provide students with real-time exposure to large-scale industrial manufacturing, automation processes, and quality-control techniques used in the food-production industry.

The Department of Textile Technology conducted a campus drive on 05/12/2025 by Shahi Exports, Bangalore. The Vice President of Operations, Srikanth, along with Laxman and Aravind from Shahi Exports, was warmly welcomed by Dr. V. M. Patil (Principal), Akshay P. (Placement Officer), and the Head of the Department of Textile Technology.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, successfully organized a Project Exhibition on 1st December 2025. The event showcased the creativity, technical excellence, and problem-solving abilities of the students.

The Department of Science and Humanities organized a Parents–Teachers Meeting for first-year students on 29 November 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The primary agenda of the meet was to discuss students’ academic progress and to highlight the various institutional initiatives planned for upskilling and overall development.

The Department of Civil Engineering organized an industrial visit for 3rd and 5th-semester students to provide an in-depth understanding of modern water treatment processes. A total of 35 students (22 from 3rd semester and 13 from 5th semester) participated in the visit.

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti successfully organized a three-day Certified Hedera Developer Hands-On Workshop, aimed at equipping students with advanced, industry-aligned skills in Web3, Blockchain, and Hedera Hashgraph technologies.

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti organized an insightful session on VTU Internship and Skill Enhancement Courses for final year students. Mr. Tejaswi Sahu, VTU Trainer, guided students on the importance of bridging the gap between academics and industry needs.

As part of their academic learning, the first-year students of Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti visited Shri K. H. Patil Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Hulkoti.During the visit, Dr. Vinayak interacted with the students and enlightened them about various research and development initiatives at the centre.

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, a special awareness program was conducted at Rural Engineering college on 29th October 2025, in association with the Anti-Corruption Police Department, Gadag.

The placement drive for the academic year 2025-26 took place at the Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti Campus, organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The recruiters, Ms Jyothi Gangal, founder, Mr Shivputra, co-founder, and Ms Rekha, business executive of Red Elemental - I Pvt. Ltd., addressed the students and provided an overview of the company profile, job roles, and salary packages.

An industrial visit was conducted by the Textile Technology Department.A group of 28 students from the final and pre-final years visited Texana Clothing Pvt Ltd, located in the Textile Park,Shiggaon, on 22/9/2025
