Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti Signs MoU with CADEM Innovations, Dharwad

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CADEM Innovations, Dharwad, marking an important step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration, innovation, research and student skill development.

The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for students and faculty members of the institution to gain greater exposure to industry-oriented technologies, practical training and emerging professional practices relevant to the Civil Engineering and construction sectors. The initiative is in line with the institution's continued emphasis on practical learning, innovation and the development of industry-ready engineering graduates.

The MoU was formally exchanged in the presence of representatives from Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, and CADEM Innovations, Dharwad. The collaboration is expected to facilitate various academic and professional activities, including:

  • Industry-oriented training programmes

  • Student skill development programmes

  • Workshops and hands-on training

  • Exposure to emerging software and technologies

  • Collaborative research and innovation activities

  • Faculty and student development initiatives

  • Opportunities to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements

The partnership has already provided an opportunity for Civil Engineering students to receive industry-oriented training through the Five-Day Student Development Programme on Revit Structure / Architecture, organized in association with CADEM Innovations. The programme focused on strengthening students' practical knowledge and technical skills in modern design and building-modelling tools.

Speaking about the significance of such collaborations, the initiative reflects the commitment of Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, towards enhancing academic collaboration with industry and providing students with practical exposure to technologies and skills demanded by the professional world.
