🌸 Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Research Ideas to Funded Project”

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, through the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with the Research & Development Cell, organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Research Ideas to Funded Project” on 25 September 2026.

The programme was conducted for engineering faculty members and research scholars, with the objective of strengthening research capabilities and providing insights into transforming innovative research ideas into meaningful and fundable projects.

The session featured Dr. Anand K. Joshi, Academician, Researcher and Innovator, as the resource person. With extensive experience in academia, research and technological innovation, Dr. Joshi shared his expertise in areas including sustainable energy systems, battery thermal management, nanomaterials, phase change materials, green mobility and battery recycling.

The programme provided an opportunity for faculty members and research scholars to gain valuable perspectives on research proposal development, funding opportunities, innovation, industry collaboration and translating research ideas into impactful projects.

The event was conducted in the presence of Dr. V. M. Patil, Administrator, RTE Society; Dr. B. N. Patil, Principal, REC Hulkoti; Dr. K. R. Gangal, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering; along with faculty members, research scholars and participants.
