The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Research and Development Cell, Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, successfully organized a technical talk on “Research Idea to Funded Project: Grant Identification and Proposal Writing” on 7th September 2026.

The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation from the attendees. The resource person, Dr. Preeti B. Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kishkinda University, Ballari, delivered an insightful and informative session.

Dr. Preeti B. Patil provided valuable guidance on identifying suitable research funding opportunities and systematically developing effective and competitive research proposals. The session offered participants practical insights into transforming innovative research ideas into well-structured, impactful, and fundable projects.

The technical talk served as a highly enriching platform for faculty members and participants to strengthen their research, grant identification, and proposal-writing capabilities. The enthusiastic participation and interactive discussions contributed significantly to the success of the programme.
