EPFO & ESIC Awareness Session

An informative awareness session on Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was jointly organized at Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti on Monday, 29th June 2026.
The session featured Mr. Akshay Badiger, Administrative Officer (AO), EPFO, and Mr. Mohammed Parvez, Branch Manager, ESIC, Gadag, as the resource persons. They provided valuable insights into the latest initiatives being introduced by EPFO and ESIC, with a special emphasis on the ongoing digitalization of services and simplified online processes aimed at enhancing convenience for employees.
The speakers highlighted several important aspects related to EPF and ESIC, including claim settlement procedures, PF withdrawals, nomination updates, account transfers, and recent policy initiatives. They also explained the benefits of digital services and encouraged staff members to make effective use of the online facilities provided by both organizations.
An interactive question-and-answer session followed the presentations, during which faculty and staff members raised queries regarding claims, withdrawals, nominations, transfers, and other EPF and ESIC-related matters. The resource persons addressed the questions comprehensively, helping participants gain a better understanding of the available services and procedures.
The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, creating greater awareness among the staff about social security benefits and the latest digital initiatives undertaken by EPFO and ESIC.
