As part of their academic learning, the first-year students of Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti visited Shri K. H. Patil Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Hulkoti.During the visit, Dr. Vinayak interacted with the students and enlightened them about various research and development initiatives at the centre.

ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬ! ಜೈ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ! ಸಿರಿಗನ್ನಡಂ ಗೆಲ್ಗೆ, ಸಿರಿಗನ್ನಡಂ ಬಾಳ್ಗೆ! ಹುಲಕೋಟಿಯ ರೂರಲ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ  69ನೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸವಿನೆನಪಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಬೋಧಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ  ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ವಿ.ಎಂ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್  ಅವರು 1973ರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ರಚನೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷಾಧಾರಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಏಕತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಎನ್.ಎಸ್
