🏆 Students Achieve Second Place at National Level Hackathon

The Management, Principal, Heads of Various Departments, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of RTE Society’s Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti proudly congratulate our VI Semester Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students – Omnateetha V. Unnimath, Pradeep S., Prajwal Kamble, and Sharath H. – for their outstanding achievement in securing Second Place at the prestigious HackAura – National Level 24-Hour Hackathon.

The event was organized at VSM Somashekara R. Kothiwale Institute of Technology, Nipani, where teams from various institutions across the country participated and showcased their technical expertise and innovative solutions.

Our students developed an impactful project titled “Mandi-Connect – Direct Farm-to-Retail Logistics & Marketplace”, aimed at bridging the gap between farmers and retailers. The platform focuses on reducing intermediaries, enhancing transparency, and enabling efficient logistics coordination within the agricultural supply chain.

Competing against highly skilled participants, the team demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Their consistent performance led them to be recognized among the Top 10 Finalists, and they ultimately secured Second Prize in the competition.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for the institution and reflects the dedication, innovation, and hard work of our students. The college takes immense pride in their success and continues to encourage such initiatives that promote practical learning and innovation.

The institution congratulates the team once again and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
