On November 29, 2024, final-year and pre-final-year students from the Textile Department visited Shahi Exports Ltd as part of their curriculum at VTU. During this visit, they gained insights into the garment production process, starting from raw materials to the exportation of finished products to various countries. Shahi Exports is an export-oriented unit, catering to markets in the UK, USA, Australia, China, and others. A total of 29 students were accompanied by faculty members Mr.S. H. Ritti, Head of the Department,Textile Technology and Mr.Sainath, Assistant Professor. The HR Manager, Mr . Lopez P., warmly welcomed the group with high tea and subsequently provided a meal for all attendees. He also offered valuable guidance on interview preparation and career opportunities within Shahi.
