5th Semester Students Visit Shahi Exports, Navalur, Hubballi
Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, organised an industrial visit to Shahi Exports, Navalur, Hubballi, on 28 October 2026 for the 5th Semester students. A total of 29 students participated in the visit along with S. H. Ritti, Subject Teacher.
The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Pascal, HR Manager, Shahi Exports. During the interaction, Mr. Hegde, General Manager, addressed the students and briefed them about the company profile, industrial operations, internship opportunities, placement prospects and career opportunities available in the industry.
As part of the visit, the students were taken through the various stages of the production and manufacturing process. They observed the industrial operations closely and gained valuable practical exposure to workplace practices, production procedures and the functioning of a large-scale organisation.
The interaction with the HR Manager and General Manager provided students with useful insights into industry expectations, employability skills, internships and future career opportunities. The visit also helped students relate their academic learning with real-world industrial practices.
The industrial visit concluded with a mini lunch arranged for the students.
The visit was a valuable learning experience for the students and contributed towards strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry exposure.
