Rural Engineering College Unveils AI, Robotics & Cyber Security Centre of Excellence in Collaboration with TechMiya Solutions

R.T.E. Society's Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, in collaboration with TechMiya Solutions, proudly inaugurated its Startup Hub and Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, and Cyber Security on July 10, 2026.

The Centre of Excellence was jointly inaugurated by Shri. Sachin Patil, Secretary , R.T.E. Society, and Mr. Mohammed Yaseen Shahbaz, CEO ,TechMiya Solutions, marking a significant milestone in promoting innovation, research, and industry-oriented technical education in North Karnataka.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. B. N. Patil, Principal, along with Dr. S. H. Angadi, Dr. Sugandh P, Dr. K R Gangal, Dr. R. S. Shetty, Mrs. Shilpa Meti, Mr. Chandrakant Watawati, Heads of various departments, faculty members, and distinguished guests.

This initiative represents a landmark step in accelerating technological advancement in Karnataka's Tier-3 cities. The Startup Hub and Centre of Excellence will serve as a dynamic platform for innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and skill development in emerging technologies.

The collaboration is expected to create valuable opportunities for students from Hubballi, Gadag, Dharwad, and Koppal by providing access to industry-oriented training, internships, live projects, startup incubation, and employment opportunities within the region.

Driven by the visionary leadership of Shri. Sachin Patil and Mr. Mohammed Yaseen Shahbaz, the initiative aims to empower local talent with future-ready technical skills while fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that encourages innovation and technology-driven solutions.

The Centre of Excellence will bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through hands-on training, practical exposure, collaborative research, and interaction with industry experts. With this pioneering initiative, R.T.E. Society's Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, is further strengthening its commitment to producing highly skilled graduates and establishing Hulkoti as an emerging hub of technological innovation in Karnataka
