One Day Incubation Program under RAMP Scheme

RTE Society’s Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, successfully organized a One Day Incubation Program under the RAMP Scheme, Government of Karnataka, Department of Industries and Commerce, KCTU Bangalore, District Industries Centre, Gadag, in association with We Care Society, Bangalore.
The incubation program on the theme “How to Be an Entrepreneur” was conducted with the objective of creating awareness about entrepreneurship and motivating students to start their own ventures. The program focused on developing entrepreneurial skills, innovative thinking, and practical knowledge required to succeed as an entrepreneur.
The resource person, Shri Madhukiran S.K., VP – Strategy and Alliances, We Care Society, delivered an insightful session highlighting essential entrepreneurial qualities such as leadership, risk-taking ability, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence. Students were guided on preparing a business plan, sources of finance, the role of MSMEs and startups, government schemes, and incubation support systems.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging with the resource person and clarifying doubts related to startup challenges, funding opportunities, and business growth strategies.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Sachin D. Patil, Honorable Secretary, RTE Society, Hulkoti.The Chief Guest was Dr. V. M. Patil, Principal, Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti.
The program was presided over by Shri T. S. Mallikarjun, Joint Director, District Industries Centre, Gadag.The Guests of Honour included Shri Nandakishor K., Founder, We Care Society, and Dr. L. R. Somangoudar, Dean Academics, REC Hulkoti.
Overall, the program was highly informative and inspiring. It played a vital role in nurturing entrepreneurial skills and promoting innovation among students, encouraging them to become job creators rather than job seekers. The event successfully achieved its objectives and was beneficial to all participants.
