Students Secure Research Funding under KSCST Student Project Programme (SPP) 2025–26

We are proud to announce that students of R.T.E. Society’s Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti, Gadag have successfully secured research funding under the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) – 49th Series of Student Project Programme (SPP) 2025–26.

A total of 7 innovative student projects from the Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering departments have been selected for sponsorship. This achievement reflects the institution’s strong commitment to research, innovation, and practical learning.

  • IoT Based Smart Road Surface Monitoring

  • IoT-Based Remote Monitoring System for Bedridden Patients 

  • Crime Pattern Analysis and Hotspot Prediction Using Machine Learning 


Electronics and Communication Engineering

  • Automated Animal Rescue and Welfare System 

  • Electronic Voting Machine with Face Authentication 

  • Reverse Vending Machine 

  • Underground Water Level Identification Robot Using Radar Based on Doppler Effect 


These projects are guided by dedicated faculty members who have played a vital role in mentoring students and shaping their innovative ideas into impactful research proposals.
