The Department of Training & Placement, Rural Engineering College (REC), Hulkoti, organized an insightful Expert Talk on “AI-Powered Placement Preparation” on Saturday, 1 August 2026 through Google Meet.


The session was delivered by Mr. Sandeep Kannur, Co-Founder, PlaceLane Technologies, Atlanta, USA, who shared valuable insights into the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in career development and placement preparation.


The expert talk focused on how students can effectively leverage Artificial Intelligence tools and emerging technologies to strengthen their placement readiness. The session covered practical approaches to improving resumes, preparing for interviews, developing technical and professional skills, and understanding the changing expectations of the technology industry.
