Engineer's Day Celebration - 2025

The Department of Civil Engineering, in collaboration with Haleya Vidyarti Sangha, hosted a joint celebration for Engineers Day and Teachers Day at REC, Hulkoti, Commemorating the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Er Sri B.A. Byali and Sri G.K. Adappagoudar, the President , Chamber of Commerce, Hubli, were the chief guests for the occasion. Additionally, Shri Sachin D. Patil ,Secretary,RTE Society,attended as a special chief guest. The event was presided over by Dr. V.M. Patil, the Principal, with Shri Krishna Odugoudar, Principal , Rural Polytechnic, also present on the stage.

Chief guest Er Sri B.A. Byali urged engineers to utilize their expertise for the betterment of society and highlighted the importance of alternative materials in minimizing construction expenses. Shri Sachin D. Patil reflected on the accomplishments of the two distinguished individuals, Visvesvaraya and Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. In his address, Dr. V.M. Patil recognized the significant contributions of chief guest Er Sri B.A. Byali to the civil works of the college and paid tribute to these eminent personalities. The vote of thanks was presented by Shri Chandrakant Watawati, Head of the Department ,Civil Engineering.
