The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and national pride at Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti.The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri Sachin Patil, Secretary, RTE Society. The campus was filled with a strong spirit of patriotism as students, faculty and staff came together to commemorate the historic occasion and honour the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought for India’s independence.

The Department of Training & Placement, Rural Engineering College (REC), Hulkoti, organized an insightful Expert Talk on “Beyond the Code” on Friday, 14 August 2026, at the Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Mr. Vinay Kumar, Industry Expert, Bengaluru, with the objective of providing engineering students with practical insights into the software industry and emerging career opportunities.

Rural Engineering College, Hulkoti successfully conducted a 15-Day Pre-Placement Training Programme for the V Semester 2026–27 Batch from 3rd to 17th August 2026, in association with QSpiders, Bengaluru.
